My Sales Story
I started selling when I was 5 years old. Without asking permission, I took water bottles and filled them with ice cold water and sold them to my neighbors and friends on a hot summer day. When I showed my Grandmother two dollars and some cents in change, she said, “Boy, where did you get that money!?!” I told her I sold water. She said, “WATER, what do you mean you sold water?” I told her it was hot and I knew everyone wanted to cool off. So I decided to sell them cold water.
That began my selling career.
One day, my Grandmother took me with her to the grocery store. I asked her to buy me a box of ice cream bars. She said, “A BOX! Boy a box has 6 bars in it. What are you going to do with all of those ice cream bars?” I told her in the store that I wanted to sell them.
Since then, I have sold a number of things including lemonade and my old toys.
In 2012, I started going door to door on my block to ask the neighbors if they have any chores I could do. I was eight years old then. I guess my grandmother believes me now. I want to earn a billion dollars.
PS. I have a very talented photographer. Check her out!
